Welcome to Vancouver Island Produce  

Vancouver Island Produce Ltd. represents farmers from all over Vancouver Island who are dedicated to supplying fresh, premium-quality produce to numerous retail grocers and markets throughout Vancouver Island.

We have been in operation since 1988 and are currently involved with 11 farms island wide and over 60 retail vendors ranging from large chain stores to smaller independent markets to seasonal produce stands. We are continuously looking for new ways to expand in order to provide customers with quality, value and variety in local produce.

Our group of growers consists of many well-established, family-run farms passionate about providing the very best in local produce. There are a number of field farms who supply various types of potatoes and corn, as well as our greenhouse growers who specialize in cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes.

Both Vancouver Island Produce and our farmers have high expectation when it comes to quality and constantly work together to ensure all product distributed meets and exceeds that expectation. Freshness is key, and we strive to do everything we can to minimize the time between harvest and distribution, and when possible, we pick and deliver same day in order to provide that freshness in-store.

Vancouver Island Produce represents a great group of environmentally conscious local growers. We take pride in being able to provide customers with fresh, high-quality, "home grown" produce. By working with our suppliers and expanding our markets, we are making it easier and easier for customers to support their local community by buying local product.
